Do you teach Mandarin or Cantonese?
Lessons are in Mandarin Chinese, the language taught in most schools, with pinyin and simplified or traditional characters to match your child’s class.
My child has never studied Chinese. Is that okay?
Yes. Beginners start with pinyin, tones and everyday phrases, then add characters step by step.
My child speaks some Chinese at home. Can you help?
Yes. Many heritage speakers understand and speak well but find reading and writing hard. Tutors build on what your child already knows.
Can you help with AP Chinese?
Yes. Tutors cover all parts of the AP Chinese Language and Culture course, including speaking, listening, reading and timed writing.

What do we need for online sessions?
