ACT Prep That Turns Practice Into Points
Personalized ACT® prep, built by curriculum experts and taught by skilled tutors. Each session targets the question types your child struggles with most, so timing improves and score gains come where they matter.

What Makes Our ACT Program Different
Personalized from day one
Every program starts with a diagnostic exam that finds the exact question types where your child loses points, not just the weaker subjects. A custom plan is built from those results.
Built by expert curriculum developers
Our ACT program is organized by question type, so every hour of practice goes where it has the biggest score impact.
Focused, one-on-one instruction
Experienced tutors target your child’s weakest question types, with sessions focused on pacing, strategy and precision.
Why Families Choose After Class Tutors for ACT Prep
Alongside one-on-one sessions, every ACT program includes:
- Video strategy lessons
- Personalized progress tracking
- Expert score breakdown reports
- Strategy mastery modules
- Extensive practice question bank
- SMS accountability reminders
- Continuous curriculum updates

Book an ACT ConsultationFrequently asked questions
When should my child start ACT prep?
Most students start in 10th or 11th grade. Starting a few months before the first test date leaves time for a diagnostic, focused practice and a second attempt if needed.
How long does ACT prep take?
Most programs run 2 to 6 months, depending on the starting score, the goal score and the test date.
Should my child take the SAT or the ACT?
Colleges accept both. A diagnostic for each shows which format suits your child better, and we build the plan around that test.
Is the ACT Science section required?
Science is optional on the current ACT. Some colleges and scholarship programs still ask for it, so check the requirements of the schools on your list before you register.
Is online ACT prep effective?
Yes. Online sessions are live and one-on-one, with the same diagnostic, plan and progress updates as sessions at our Newport Beach office.
